“This room was by far the most memorable and welcoming experience we had on our entire 12 day excursion thru Italy. Sandro was more than accommodating with us throughout our whole stay in Riomaggiore. His location in this beautiful little village is located right towards the bottom of the main hill with all the restaurants, coffee shops, and fried Calamari you could ever hope for. There are many vantage points near and on his property to get great photos or just look out and take in the beautiful scenery. There are boat tours that you can book right down in the courtyard below the room as well as even more coffee shops and restaurants. The location and views werent the only amazing things about this part of our trip. We wound up losing track of a backpack when we arrived off the train from La Spezia and were in a full panic on the first night of our 2 night stay. We tried to see if Sandro just happened to remember seeing us with it, or maybe we put it down in his office. He went so far above and beyond. He put the word out to his friends and contacts in the area, and within a couple of hours found out the police picked it up at the train station. The next day we had the bag bag and everything we left in it untouched. We realize how lucky we were the police picked it up, but he made it so much easier to deal with getting it back. This 2 days of our trip will forever be a fond memory and its primarily because of Sandro and everything hes done for us. If you're planning a trip to Italy, consider Cinque Terre, especially Alla Marina in Riomaggiore. It is well worth the stay, we just wish we had more than 2 days to spend here.”

Staff has been super friendly and helpful with recommendations and the room was clean and comfortable. Would definately stay again!! Just a reminder this is a cliff side area so Lots of steps!! “Our group had a three night stay in the Atlantis apartment and Charme room 3. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the views from the apartment, the harbor is just downstairs and the beach around the corner. Easy walk to train station and many excellent food options (La Torpedine, Trattoria Amore, La Lampara), pizza (Kepris and RioPizza) and Trogi wine bar. Our hosts also recommended Luca with Il Gavitello for a boat tour which picked us up in the harbor just down the stairs. Would definitely stay here again!”

The owners were very helpful and met us to take us to the appartment and helped us with any questions we had. Perfect place to stay and explore the gorgeous Cinque Terra.”
